Lean In Part 3: How Our Prayer Group Began

This past summer, I wanted to lean in — into what the Lord had for me, into my relationships, and into hearing His voice. Amidst the hustle and bustle, I felt Him asking me to come away with Him, into stillness and silence.

That's how our prayer group began; gathering every other Friday evening at my house or a local forest preserve. Whether someone was brand new to prayer or had walked with the Lord for years, if they were hungry to seek His face, there was a place for them.

Each gathering, we sought the Lord together — in quiet, in prayer, and in worship — standing in the gap for one another in whatever we were walking through. I was so hopeful to draw deeper into community through it.

I couldn't wait to see what the Lord would do. 🕊️
