Lean In Part 6: Finding Rest and Rhythm with God
One evening, I went to a networking dinner hosted by a Christian video agency owner. Six of us sat around the table as he asked deep, intentional questions. I was blown away by the vulnerability strangers were willing to share with one another — stories of health struggles, relational burdens, broken trust, and shame.
One theme kept surfacing all night: our desperate need for rest and rhythm with God.
I got to share what a blessing this prayer group had become for me. It started as a personal act of surrender, one that reshaped my identity and deepened my trust in Jesus as the author and perfecter of my faith. And it blossomed into a community of growth and joy.
Whatever season you're in, be encouraged:
1. The Lord will fulfill His purpose for you (Psalm 138:8).
2. You have brothers and sisters walking alongside you, helping carry your burdens (Galatians 6:2).
